Coronavirus Information for Parents and Carers
We appreciate that given the current climate, there may be lots of worries and concerns but we would ask that rather than following advice on social media or elsewhere that you please contact the school office to raise any concerns or ask any questions to ensure that you get given current and accurate advice. We can assure you that our whole-school community's wellbeing is our priority.

The NSPCC has created a new webpage with information and advice for parents or carers who are worried a child or young person may be struggling with their mental health or has anxiety about Coronavirus. The webpage includes information on: talking about feelings and worries; keeping in touch and balancing screen time; ways to create structure and routine; and helping to give children a sense of control.

Could my child's school be closed?
The government has the power to close schools.
Education Secretary Gavin Williamson met head teachers about the challenges facing schools as a result of the coronavirus.
"The most immediately pressing challenge is the difficulty in keeping schools open with growing numbers of staff having to self-isolate," head teachers' leaders said. "It is likely that a number of schools will have to close because there are too few staff available to teach, support and supervise children."
